Eloy Jiménez

About Eloy Jiménez:

Left-fielder Eloy Jiménez, was signed in 2014 by the Chicago Cubs as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Beginning his professional career at age 17, Jiménez played 42 games with the AZL Cubs, then moved his way up to the Eugene Emeralds in 2015. He was traded to the Chicago White Sox a week after participating in the 2017 Futures Game. After standing out in the minors, Jiménez broke into the big leagues and made his debut on March 28, 2019. Over his two years in the majors, Jiménez has hit 45 home runs, and is continuing to rise as a young powerhouse.
